Well, now that I've been down to the Great Hall and met some people and everything, I guess it's high time to break out this book Dumbledore gave all of us. Hello, everyone. My name is Susan BEmmor and I am a new Hufflepuff.

How's everyone doing now that the regular students are back? It's all quite strange isn't it?

	Hi Susan. I'm doing okay, I suppose. I think tonight will be the true test, however. Our first night with them. These are our dorms but not, you know? Well, of course you do. It's very strange. 	Yeah, it's interesting how the castle has changed but it's almost more interesting how much it hasn't... and yet there are our parents, walking around and going to classes. I've talked to a few people. After all, I'm trying to pretend like I don't know my way around. Although, that's easy enough for me - I think I've forgotten how to get to most of my classes anyway.

I...My parents are here. My dad is one of my roommates. That's something that I'm excited about. Being a sixth year without my friends is odd, but I'll handle it.

It does seem like we're rather useless, doesn't it. Unproductive. I hate that. I wish we could do something too, but what?

Isn't it strange to pretend not to know things about Hogwarts? Ever since Dumbledore's speech people have been trying to explain the House system to me.

I was wondering why you chose sixth year, but that makes sense. I think I've seen your dad around, if you look anything like him.

Have you talked to anyone else? I feel weird about it, but really, it was mostly Harry, Hermione, and Ron that had anything together in the future... They would be the ones to figure things out now.

	Actually, everyone is surprisingly civil. I expected getting hexed at the first opportunity ~~and took the necessary precautions, of course~~ but so far nothing has happened. I think I'm doing fine. Oh, you. You always fancied him third year, I guess it would make sense now that he's our age. But... I don't know, that seems risky. More than risky, ill-advised, really.

But it's not because of Justin! He'd want you to be happy. If this whole past thing becomes more permanent, maybe we'd start thinking about that, but right now it just seems like asking for some sort of awful time paradox.
